Thierry Mouanza Dongala is founder of Accountable Africa, a consulting firm that advises on African accountability efforts and management of African sovereign wealth. Mr. Mouanza Dongala is a former Senior Advisor for Africa at the United States House Committee on Foreign Affairs, Subcommittee on Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organizations (under Chairmanship of Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ). Prior to working in U.S Congress, he Co-Chaired forums on accountability with The Honorable David M. Walker, former U.S Comptroller General and former CEO of the U.S Government Accountability Office.
Mr. Mouanza Dongala is a former organizer of institutional investor conferences for Euromoney Institutional Investor. Prior to Euromoney, Mr. Mouanza Dongala worked in the United States Senate for U.S Senator Bob Casey (D-PA). He has consulted on demographic change and retirement security for several Fortune 500 firms including Bank of America Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Prior to this he while was Vice President at the Alliance for Generational Equity, where he became voice for entitlement reform among millennials.
